1. Who we are

Timestamply generates YouTube chapters. For privacy questions or requests, email timestamply@gmail.com.

2. Data and purposes

We process email and account identifiers, YouTube links and transcripts, generation settings and chapters, usage and billing records, IP/device identifiers, and support messages. We use this information to provide accounts, generate chapters, manage subscriptions, provide support, and prevent abuse. Google sign-in is optional. Paddle handles card details; we do not store full card numbers.

Timestamply does not use your transcripts or generated chapters for model training or public examples. We send transcripts to AI providers to generate chapters and do not permit those requests to be used for model training.

Providing data is voluntary, but the relevant information is needed for account, generation, and payment features. For account and usage data under EU/UK law, our legal bases are our contract with you, legitimate interests in security and abuse prevention, and legal obligations for required records. Optional processing requires consent where applicable law requires it.

3. Service providers

• Hosting, database, and caching providers: running the service and storing account data and sessions.
• Email and sign-in providers: sending sign-in emails, storing support messages, and authenticating accounts, including Google sign-in.
• YouTube and proxy providers: retrieving video information and transcripts; YouTube also provides embedded playback.
• OpenRouter and its AI providers: transcript processing and chapter generation.
• Paddle: subscription payments and billing.

Paddle independently handles payment data under its Privacy Notice. Providers may process data outside your country. Contact us for information about transfer locations and safeguards.

4. Retention

We keep account data, saved chapters, and usage history while your account is open; transcripts are temporarily cached. Sign-in codes expire after 15 minutes; sessions last up to 30 days, renewable with use. Email us to request account deletion, including saved chapters, usage history, and sign-in sessions.

Support emails are stored in our Gmail mailbox as needed to respond to inquiries and resolve related issues or disputes. Financial records are retained as needed for payments, disputes, and legal obligations. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove copies held in provider backups.

5. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

We may verify your identity and will respond within legal deadlines. You can complain to Israel's Privacy Protection Authority, your competent EEA authority, or the UK ICO, as applicable.

6. Cookies and browser storage

Cookies and browser storage support sign-in and security. Google sign-in cookies last up to 10 minutes; request-protection cookies, one day; a device identifier, until cleared. Blocking essential storage can affect sign-in.

When a video result appears, the embedded YouTube player loads and connects your browser to YouTube. YouTube may receive technical data and use cookies for analytics and ads. Paddle checkout may also use cookies. Non-essential tracking requires consent where applicable law requires it.
